Internal Family System Therapy
What is Internal Family System Therapy?
Have you ever experienced conflicting feelings or thoughts? For example, one part of you wants to stay home on a rainy day and another part of you wants you to go to the gym?
Did you know?
According to the Internal Family System (IFS) model, we have different parts which can be thoughts, feelings, reactions, physical sensations, etc. Each part has its own mission, function, memories, motivation, as well as protection, and vulnerability. Each part is welcome, there are no bad parts. Each part has value.
IFS is a non-pathologizing therapeutic approach that is rooted in curiosity and compassion. To learn more about IFS click here.
