MEET YOUR LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Yuliya Golubev
Hi, I’m Yuliya.
I am a certified bilingual Gestalt and perinatal therapist.
I work with people who look capable on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or never quite “good enough” on the inside. Many of my clients struggle with perfectionism, overworking, overfunctioning, or tying their self-worth to performance and approval.
In therapy, we work on untangling these patterns and rebuilding a sense of self-esteem and self-worth that isn’t based on productivity or pleasing others. My approach is grounded in Gestalt therapy, psychoanalytic depth, and a relational way of working—meaning healing happens through awareness, curiosity, and relationship over time.
Therapy with me is a long-term, supportive process where you don’t have to fix yourself or earn your worth. Instead, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, more whole, and more at ease being yourself.
Who I Help:
Therapy for Moms: Pregnancy, Postpartum, & Beyond
Are you pregnant, newly postpartum, or finding that motherhood still feels overwhelming long after the baby stage? You may be dealing with worries, emotional ups and downs, guilt, exhaustion, or the feeling that you have lost part of yourself. You are not alone. I provide therapy for mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, with support shaped around your experiences, needs, and stage of motherhood.
Therapy for Dads
Becoming a father can bring not only joy and pressure but also financial worries, loneliness, and unexpected changes to your identity and your relationship with your partner. Whether you are preparing for your first child or are already a veteran parent, together we will talk honestly about what is happening for you, what you need, and how you want to move through your journey as a father.
Therapy for Immigrants & First & Second-Generation Americans
Do you often feel pulled between different expectations — from your family, your culture, and your own needs?
Many immigrants and first- and second-generation adults carry anxiety, guilt, or a sense of responsibility for others.
I offer a space to explore family dynamics, cultural beliefs, and better understand yourself while navigating life between cultures.
